Open House 2016

At the Open House on August 21, 2016 we welcomed 2 new teachers, Leslie Harrison (Zumba) and Kayleigh Crummey (Toddler Toodaloo, Dance Stories, Discover Dance and Ballet). Tap 3 performed to “The Pink Panther” and teachers, students and parents all participated in a Zumba class! We met some new families and re-united with our regulars. It was a great kick off the Fall Session.

In Winter 2016 Arts in Motion had a community performance almost every month!

•In February the Student Dance Company and several of the other advanced classes performed at Glacier Hills and at Interfaith Center for Spiritual Growth.

•In March a team of teachers held a dance residency program at Ann Arbor Open @ Mack that was tons of fun!  The Lower elementary kids at AAO experienced dance class once a week for two weeks.  We hope to expand on the program next year to include a performance.

•In April, we returned to Eberwhite Elementary School where a few of the students were able to preview their pieces from our Spring Concert which was in Mid-May.  A few of our teachers performed at Eberwhite as well. Click here for a Swing demonstration Scott and Amanda performed there.

•In June we once again visited the Chelsea Retirement Community and entertained the residents there with some Modern Dance, Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet and Improvisation.

•We will be having an Open House on Sunday, August 21st from 3-5.  Hope to see you there!
